What Data Do We Collect About You?
Data Collected During Training Registration
When registering for a training, we will ask you to provide your first and last name, your contact details (email address and/or telephone number), which will be used to send you a confirmation request for your training registration, as well as your billing address details required for issuing an invoice for the training.
Data Collected When Providing Access to E-learning Trainings
When purchasing an e-learning training and as part of the service provision by granting access to the WordPress training platform and/or Moodle training platform, the following data will be collected / you will be asked to provide the following data:
- First and last name of the training participants, required for creating a user account on the WordPress and/or Moodle training platform,
- Email address of the training participants, which will be used to send a registration message with login details.
In the case of group orders, the entity placing the order is responsible for providing a list of email addresses along with the above-mentioned data of the individuals who will participate in the e-learning training to the following email address: biuro@centrum-doskonalenia.pl as well as for informing them about the rules under which their personal data will be processed.
Upon receipt of the list, a user account with access to the e-learning training will be created on the basis of the data provided.
Data Collected Automatically
When using the e-learning training, the following data is collected automatically: first and last name, email address, and your IP address.
Data Collected When Placing an Order in the Online Store
When you make a purchase in our online store on the website, the following data is collected as part of processing and fulfilling your order: first and last name, email address, and IP address.
Data Collected When You Contact Us
When you contact us via the website contact form, by phone, email, or other means, you provide us with your personal data, such as your first name, last name, email address, telephone number, etc.
Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing
Your personal data is collected for the following purposes:
- the execution of reservations, conclusion of a training agreement, and the delivery of classroom and online training (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- the execution of orders, user registration, and providing access to the WordPress and/or Moodle training platforms for e-learning courses (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR),
- the execution of orders placed for training materials in the online store (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR),
- accounting purposes related to issuing and receiving financial documents, based on tax law provisions (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR),
- data archiving for the potential re-issuance of a paper certificate at the participant’s request, which constitutes the legitimate interest of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR),
- data archiving for the potential establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or for the need to demonstrate facts, which constitutes the legitimate interest of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR),
- telephone or email contact, in particular in response to inquiries directed to the data controller, which constitutes the legitimate interest of the data controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data Retention Period
- The Data Controller stores personal data for the duration of the agreement concluded with the data subject or the submitted order, and after its termination for purposes related to the pursuit of claims arising from the agreement, as well as for the fulfillment of obligations resulting from applicable legal provisions, but for no longer than the limitation period specified in the provisions of the Civil Code.
- The Data Controller stores personal data contained in accounting documents for the period specified by the Value Added Tax Act and the Accounting Act.
- The Data Controller stores personal data for the purpose of reissuing a certificate at the participant’s request for a period of two years, unless consent to the processing of data has been withdrawn earlier.
How Do We Use Your Data?
- We never sell the data collected about you to third parties.
- Data collected during training registration will be used for the purpose of executing the transaction, including issuing and sending you a certificate and an invoice for the training. For this purpose, your data may be transferred to an accounting service provider. This company will not use the data for any other purpose. Providing this data is voluntary, but necessary if you wish to participate in the training.
- Data collected automatically may be used to analyze user behavior on our website, to gather demographic information about our users, or to personalize the content of our websites. Such data is collected automatically from each user and will be used to optimize our website.
- Data collected during correspondence between you and our service will be used solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Your data is processed in systems maintained by professional IT service providers.
Who Do We Entrust or Disclose Your Data To?
- As part of delivering training services and providing access to e-learning training, your data is processed by Centrum Doskonalenia Zarządzania MERITUM Sp. z o.o. As part of fulfilling the terms of an agreement or service, your data may be entrusted to other entities involved in the performance of those terms. Any entrustment of data takes place on the basis of prior data processing agreements concluded with the relevant entities.
- As part of delivering training services, your data may be entrusted to subcontractors providing services.
- As part of providing access to e-learning training, your data will be entrusted to the hosting provider of the Moodle training platform.
- As part of fulfilling tax law obligations, your data may be entrusted to an entity providing accounting services.
- As part of handling administrative processes, your data may be entrusted to an entity providing IT services.
- As part of fulfilling legal obligations, your data is disclosed to the competent public administration authorities.
How Will We Contact You?
In order to ensure transparency in the processing of your personal data, we inform you that:
- providing your data for the above-mentioned purpose is entirely voluntary;
- you have the right to:
- request access to your personal data at any time;
- obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you, as well as the completion of incomplete personal data;
- obtain without undue delay the erasure of personal data concerning you;
- request restriction of processing where:
- you contest the accuracy of the personal data;
- the processing is unlawful but you oppose the erasure of the data;
- the Data Controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but the data is required by you for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
 
- request data portability, including:
- receiving (in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format) the personal data you have provided to the Data Controller and transmitting it to another controller;

Store Terms and Conditions
Definitions:
1. Store – the online store operated by Centrum Doskonalenia Zarządzania Meritum Sp. z o.o., available at: http://e-doskonalenie.pl, selling products related to management systems (e-learning courses, e-books, software) via the Internet;
2. Business Days – all days of the week from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays;
3. Order Fulfillment Time – the time in which the Store completes the order and initiates the delivery method chosen by the Client (e.g., electronic delivery, courier service, traditional mail);
4. Client – a natural person with full or limited legal capacity, a legal person, or an organizational unit without legal personality making purchases in the Store and holding a client account;
5. Consumer – a person within the meaning of Article 221 of the Civil Code;
6. Client Account – a database containing Client data used, among others, for order fulfillment, order history, and payment information;
7. Traditional Bank Transfer – a payment made by the Client at a bank via an online or branch account, or at the post office;
8. Electronic Bank Transfer – a payment made by the Client from an online bank account via online payment systems;
9. Digital Content – content as defined in Article 2(5) of the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 (Journal of Laws, item 827);
10. E-book – books in electronic format, whose content is recorded electronically and intended for reading using appropriate software installed on a computing device (e.g., personal computer, e-book reader, etc.);
11. Electronic Files – digital content, e-books, audiobooks, and other products offered for sale in the form of files for reading on suitable electronic devices;
12. PDF – a file format that can be read after downloading to any electronic device equipped with a PDF reader;
13. Civil Code – the Act of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 121, as amended);
14. Consumer Rights Act – the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 827);
15. Act on the Provision of Electronic Services – the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services (Journal of Laws of 2013, item 1422, as amended).
I. General Terms

3. At the time of placing an order, the Client must accept these Terms and Conditions and agrees to receive notifications related to the fulfillment of the order at the email address provided. The offer is binding for the period of its presentation on the aforementioned website.
II. Personal Data
1. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions constitutes consent to the processing of personal data to the extent necessary for order fulfillment.
2. Providing personal data by the Client is voluntary; however, the lack of consent to its processing makes it impossible to complete the order. The Client is responsible for providing false personal data.
3. Personal data is protected in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). More information on privacy protection can be found in the Privacy Policy.
4. Clients of the Store have the right to access their personal data, to correct it, and to request its deletion. It is prohibited for the Client to provide unlawful content.
III. Order Placement and Fulfillment Procedure
1. Orders may be placed by adding a product to the shopping cart and then clicking the “Proceed to Checkout” button.
2. Orders from Clients are accepted through the Store’s website, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. Placing orders online is possible provided that the Client’s IT system meets the following minimum technical requirements:
- Operating system: Windows or Linux (with graphical interface) or Mac OS
- Processor: 1 GHz, RAM: 2 GB, graphics card: 256 MB supporting 1024×768 resolution, hard drive: 1.0 GB of free space
- Input devices: keyboard, mouse
- Internet connection with minimum bandwidth: download 512 kbit/s, upload 128 kbit/s
- Web browser with JavaScript enabled: Internet Explorer (minimum version 9), Google Chrome (minimum version 13), or Mozilla Firefox (minimum version 20)
3. Creating a user account is not required to complete the order procedure.
4. A fundamental condition for fulfilling purchases is the proper completion of contact details, including a valid email address and telephone number, at which the order can be confirmed.
5. The maximum order fulfillment time is 7 days. However, the Store will make every effort to ensure that orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are processed no later than 2 business days after the order is placed.
6. In the event of circumstances that make it completely or temporarily impossible to fulfill an order, Centrum Doskonalenia Zarządzania MERITUM Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to suspend order fulfillment. The Client will be immediately informed of such a situation by email or telephone.
7. Orders containing incorrectly completed contact details (non-existent email address or lack of telephone number) will not be processed. Centrum Doskonalenia Zarządzania MERITUM Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to suspend orders that raise doubts.
8. Prices of goods available in the online store are given in Polish zloty (PLN) and include VAT (gross prices).
9. Centrum Doskonalenia Zarządzania MERITUM Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to change the prices of goods offered without prior notice. Price changes do not apply to orders already accepted for processing.
10. Centrum Doskonalenia Zarządzania MERITUM Sp. z o.o. issues a VAT invoice for the purchased goods. Correct completion of company details, including the NIP (tax identification number), is required.
11. A condition for order fulfillment is the receipt of the due amount in the Store’s bank account. Orders not paid within 30 days from the date of placement will be canceled by the Store administrator.
12. The online store offers two forms of payment:
a) bank transfer –the product will be made available after the payment is credited.
b) Przelewy24 – the product will be made available after the payment is credited.
The payment card operator is PayPro SA Settlement Agent, ul. Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the District Court Poznań – Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS No. 0000347935, NIP 7792369887, REGON 301345068.
13. Each transaction is confirmed by a VAT invoice. By making a purchase, the Buyer automatically agrees to the issuance of a VAT invoice without a signature. The invoice is sent to the email address provided when placing the order.
IV. Purchase of Digital Content (Electronic Publications, E-books)
1. Electronic publications (e-books, e-learning courses) are protected under the provisions of the Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights (consolidated text: Journal of Laws No. 90/2006, item 90, as amended). It is prohibited to distribute or share the purchased e-book or any of its parts, as well as the content of e-learning courses, to make copies for commercial purposes, or to make alterations or any kind of modifications to the file.
2. All products, texts, graphics, logos, and software available on the Store’s website are the property of the Store and are protected under applicable laws, including the Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights (Journal of Laws No. 24/1994, item 83, as amended) and the Industrial Property Law (Journal of Laws No. 119/2003, item 1117, as amended). The User undertakes to use the website and purchased products solely in compliance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable laws.
These Store Terms and Conditions are effective as of 25 May 2018.
V. Withdrawal from the Agreement and Returns of Digital Content
1. Pursuant to Article 38(13) of the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 (Journal of Laws 2014, item 827, as amended), the Consumer is not entitled to withdraw from the agreement with respect to digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, if the performance has begun with the Consumer’s explicit consent before the withdrawal period has expired and after being informed of the loss of the right of withdrawal.
2. Prior to making a purchase, the Client is informed about the loss of the right of withdrawal in the case of acquiring e-books or e-learning courses.
3. By purchasing digital content in the Store, the Client agrees to the commencement of performance before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period and accepts the lack of the possibility of return.
4. In the case of digital products (e.g., e-books, e-learning courses), the commencement of performance occurs when the product is made available to the Client, e.g., by sending a download link, granting access to the e-learning platform, or delivering the e-book electronically.
5. Consequently, after making a purchase and obtaining access to digital content, it is not possible to return the products or request a refund.
VI. Paper Certificates
1. After completing an e-learning course and passing the exam, the Client receives a PDF certificate at no additional cost.
2. The Client has the option to additionally purchase a paper certificate, which will be printed and delivered to the specified address.
3. No right of return – pursuant to Article 38(3) of the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 (Journal of Laws 2014, item 827, as amended), the Consumer is not entitled to withdraw from the agreement with respect to products made to individual order and tailored to the Consumer’s specifications.
4. The paper certificate is a personalized product containing the Client’s data and information about the completed training; therefore, it cannot be returned or exchanged.
5. In the event of an error attributable to the Store (e.g., a typographical error in the first name or surname), the Client is entitled to a free correction and re-delivery of the paper certificate.
6. Complaints regarding paper certificates must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the shipment, including a detailed description of the issue and supporting documentation (e.g., a photo of the incorrectly printed certificate).
Terms of Use for E-learning Courses
These Terms and Conditions set out the rules for using the online service providing e-learning courses, owned by Centrum Doskonalenia Zarządzania Meritum Sp. z o.o.
Definitions:
1. Contractor – Centrum Doskonalenia Zarządzania MERITUM Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw, Przasnyska 6b, 01-756 Warsaw, entered into the National Court Register maintained by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under number 0000139727, NIP: 524-18-17-900, with share capital of PLN 50,000.
2. Principal – a legal or natural person indicated in the purchase order.
3. User – a person using the Platforms.
4. Registration Form – the form completed by the User during the registration process on the Platform.
5. Password – a string of characters defined by the Platform Administrator, as well as during the password recovery process.
6. Username (Login) – a unique User identifier defined by the Administrator during the registration process.
7. Login – confirmation of the registered User’s identity by entering the username and password.
8. Platforms (https://meritum.moodle.org.pl/http://sklep.centrum-doskonalenia.pl/index.php/my-account/) – virtual educational platforms accessible via the Internet.
9. Certificate– an electronic document issued to the User upon successful completion of the training (at least 80% correct answers in the final test).
10. Entity – the training company with its registered office at Przasnyska 6b, 01-756 Warsaw, authorized to issue Certificates and maintain relevant training documentation.
11. License – tothe right to use the Training by one and the same User. Granting a License for the number of Users indicated in the registration form shall be understood as the right of those identified Users, specified in the registration form, to unlimited use of the Training for a period of 365 calendar days from the day following the date on which the access data to the Training is provided to the User by email.
Provisions:
1. Access to the Training is possible only after full payment of the fee for the execution of the Training Order. The License Fee referred to in the preceding sentence shall be paid by the Principal upon receipt of a pro forma invoice sent electronically by the Contractor. The original invoice shall be issued within 7 days after the payment has been credited to the account.
2. Upon receipt of payment for granting the License, all Users indicated in the registration form submitted by the Principal shall receive an email with access data to the relevant Training from the Contractor.
3. The Training is made available for a period of 365 days from the date on which the access data is provided to the Principal.
4. In the event of an inability to use the e-learning Training due to a technical failure, the period for which the Training has been made available shall be extended by 7 days. The days during which access to the Training was impossible shall not count towards the service availability period.
5. The price of the Training includes the cost of issuing a single electronic certificate (or certificates in the case of multiple Users from the same Principal) confirming completion of the Training and making it available to the User on the Platform. Certificates shall be issued immediately after the User achieves a score of more than 80% correct answers in the final test of the Training.
6. Prior to commencing the Training, each User shall be required to provide complete and accurate personal data (first name, last name) which is legally required for the issuance of the Certificate, which means that they accept the clause with the following wording:
I hereby acknowledge that my personal data provided in the form displayed prior to the commencement of the Training will be processed by Centrum Doskonalenia Zarządzania Meritum Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at Przasnyska 6b, 01-756 Warsaw, for the purpose of issuing a Certificate of completion of the Training and maintaining Training documentation, in particular the preparation of the training log and the examination (final test) protocol. Providing the data is voluntary but necessary to conduct (provide access to) the Training. I have the right to access my data and the right to rectify it..
7. The Contractor shall not be liable for any losses resulting from defects in the software for which it has granted the Principal a License in accordance with the Order. The Contractor shall not be liable for lost profits resulting from defects in the software for which it has granted the Principal a License pursuant to the order.
